Duck Donuts Hosts Official Ribbon-Cutting In East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Duck Donuts opened its eighth shop in New Jersey last month just before Christmas.

On Jan. 5 the family-owned and operated store hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony that saw local officials in attendance.

Mayor Brad Cohen, Economic Development Officer Rob Zuckerman, and officials from the East Brunswick Regional Chamber of Commerce (EBRCC), officially welcomed owner Miten Patel to the Township’s business community.

"Miten, on behalf of the East Brunswick community, I'd like to extend congratulations to you and your family on the opening of Duck Donuts. We welcome you to our community and wish you great success,” Cohen said.

The 1,500-square-foot shop features the franchise’s iconic beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with indoor seating.

"I want my customers to experience happiness when they come to Duck Donuts. We aim to serve the freshest and best made-to-order donuts around. What can bring more happiness than that,” Patel said.

Duck Donuts specializes in made-to-order donuts. They offer create-your-own donut combinations, where customers can choose from a variety of coatings, toppings and drizzles, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles, maple icing with bacon and more.

Additionally, the East Brunswick location will serve Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blends, espresso beverages, donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, frozen beverages, milkshakes, select retail items, and more.

The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where children and adults alike can watch their donuts being made.

The shop is located in the Midstate Mall, at 300 NJ-18.
