East Brunswick BOE To Interview Candidates For Open Seat Monday
The session is open to the public.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Board of Education will host a special meeting on Monday, 7 p.m.
During this meeting, candidates interested in filling the open space on the Board created by the resignation of Laurie Lachs earlier this year will be interviewed.
Candidates will be interviewed in an open session by the members of the BOE. The session is open to the public.

BOE members will then meet in closed session to review and discuss the interviews and qualifications of the candidates.
BOE members will then nominate candidates and vote on the new member.

On Tuesday, July 1, the new member will be sworn in, and they will hold the seat until the reorganization meeting in January 2026.
