East Brunswick BOE Reorganization Scheduled For Thursday
New and returning members will take the oath of office and a new BOE president will be elected.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – It's the new year and the East Brunswick Board of Education will get down to important business in the very first week itself.
The BOE is scheduled to meet on Thursday at 7 p.m.
And on the agenda is the oath-taking ceremony of reelected and newly elected Board of Education members.

In November 2023, Tim Cummins and Laurie Lachs were reelected and newcomer Laurie Herrick was elected to the BOE.
The three members will be taking their oath of office on Thursday.

The same evening, members will vote for a new BOE President. Lachs has been serving as president for the past year.
This November, three seats – currently held by Vicky Becker, Barbara Reiss and Jeffrey Winston – will appear in the ballot.
