East Brunswick Comes Together To Launch WeCycle Series
Promoting environmental stewardship in our community.

East Brunswick Public Library, the East Brunswick Sustainability Task Force and the Friends of the East Brunswick Environment Commission are teaming up to present the WeCycle series of programs this spring.
These programs are part of a celebration of Earth Day, as well as promoting environmental stewardship in our community.
The first program, “Sustainability Basics in the Home,” is on April 16 at 7:00 pm. Lynn Ust and Briane Peters of Middlesex County’s Solid Waste Management and Environmental Health Division explain proper waste disposal, what can be recycled (including batteries), and a better understanding of “best by” dates on groceries.

The second program is led by Steven Rinaldi from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. He will explore the history and innovation of recycling and waste reduction. This program is on May 28 at 7:00 pm.
Both events will be held in person at the East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) and available to view on Zoom. To learn more or register for either event, visit www.ebpl.org/option-green.
