East Brunswick Council Will Meet On Thursday. What's On The Agenda?

East Brunswick is expected to vote on an ordinance restricting tractor-trailers on some township roads.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As the dust settles around the 2024 election, it's back to business in East Brunswick.

Town Council will meet on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for the regular meeting. On the agenda is the second reading for an ordinance that seeks to restrict tractor-trailers parked along West Ferris Street and Sixth Street.

The township said it received several complaints of vehicles, specifically of tractor-trailers, parked along West Ferris Street, between Route 18 Southbound and the end of the street, and Sixth Street from Lowes’s Home Improvement Parking Lot to the beginning of the property lines of 33 Sixth Street and 34 Sixth Street.
