East Brunswick Gains Edge In Competitive Superintendent Search With Accelerated Timeline
The district said it was being "aggressive" with its timeline as multiple county schools are seeking new leadership.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick School District has moved swiftly in its superintendent search, positioning itself ahead of competing districts across Middlesex County.
With multiple county school districts simultaneously seeking new leadership, East Brunswick officials believe their accelerated timeline provides a strategic advantage in attracting top candidates.
"There is a rather high number of districts currently searching for a superintendent. So, our schedule has been fairly aggressive, which puts us ahead of other districts, which I think will offer East Brunswick a huge advantage," said Board of Education President Heather Guas during a recent meeting.

Both the board and their search firm have expressed satisfaction with the caliber of candidates attracted by the district's proactive approach.
"The applicant pool was extraordinary, and so far, I think I can speak for the board when I say that we are happy with our progression and happy in what we have in front of us," Guas added.
