East Brunswick Jewish Center To Host Bias Crime Recognition Workshop
Experts from the NJ Division of Criminal Justice's Bias Crime Unit will lead the session.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — In response to rising concerns about bias-motivated incidents across the state, the East Brunswick Jewish Center will host a presentation titled "How To Recognize Bias Crimes" next month.
The event, scheduled for Thursday, May 22 at 6:30 PM at the center's 511 Ryders Lane location, is being co-sponsored by the East Brunswick Police Department and the Office of New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin.
Experts from the NJ Division of Criminal Justice's Bias Crime Unit will lead the session, teaching attendees how to identify potential bias crimes and properly report them to authorities.

The presentation is part of the broader "NO HATE IN THE GARDEN STATE" campaign, a statewide initiative aimed at raising awareness about bias incidents that target individuals based on race, sex, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.
