Who's Leading East Brunswick Mayor, Council Race: Unofficial Results
See who is leading in three important races in East Brunswick.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - With all 40 districts reporting, incumbent Mayor and Council candidates have held their lead in the race in East Brunswick.
Meanwhile, in the hotly contested school board race, new faces are emerging as front runners in the unofficial results.

Residents in East Brunswick voted on three key local races - Mayor, Council, and the Board of Education.
Mayor
Mayor Brad Cohen (Democrat) is seeking another term and he got 12,849 votes with all 40 districts reporting. His Republican opponent Eugene DeMarzo got 8,875 votes and Independent candidate Ateka Gunja received 1,008 votes.

With 40 districts fully reported, here are the latest uncertified election results as per the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office (check back for updates):
- Brad Cohen (D) - 12,849 (56.43%)
- Eugene DeMarzo (R) - 8,875 (38.98%)
- Ateka Gunja (I) - 1,008 (4.43%)
Council
Running alongside Cohen on the Democratic ticket are incumbents Dana Zimbicki and Dinesh Behal. They got 12,373 and 11,829 votes respectively, while Republican candidates Joseph M. Kincaid and Lisette Mejia got 9,834 and 9,381 votes.

- Dana Zimbicki (D) - 12,373 (28.44%)
- Dinesh Behal (D) - 11,829 (27.19%)
- Joseph M. Kincaid (R) - 9,834 (22.61%)
- Lisette Mejia (R) - 9,381 (21.57%)
Board Of Education
This election cycle, eight candidates are seeking to fill three seats on the BOE for a three-year term - Louis D. Figueroa, Jaime Falco, Jennifer Figueroa, Barbara Reiss, Wilbur Pan, Burhanuddin Danish, Pankaj Goswami and Heather James. Jack Levitt and Anna Braun are seeking a one-year position.
With all 40 districts reporting, in the unofficial tally Wilbur Pan (7,862 votes), Louis Figueroa (7,755 votes) and Jaimie Falco (7,347) have taken the lead.
Meanwhile, Anna Braun got 8,292 votes to Jack Levitt's 7,760 votes for the one-year term.
