East Brunswick Mayor, Council Showdown Set For November 2024

The Democratic and Republican Party candidates ran unopposed in the primary election.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - East Brunswick voters cast ballots for members of Congress, council and mayor during the Primary election on Tuesday.

The local Democratic and Republican Party candidates ran unopposed in the primary, setting the stage for the general election showdown in November this year.

Mayor Brad Cohen (Democrat) is seeking another term. He will be facing Republican candidate Eugene DeMarzo. Both Cohen and DeMarzo are doctors.

Running alongside Cohen on the Democratic ticket are incumbents Dana Zimbicki and Dinesh Behal.

They will face Republican candidates Joseph M. Kincaid and Samuel T. Mena.

This year the general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
