East Brunswick PD’s 'No Shave November' Will Raise Funds For Cancer
Each officer who participates donates $10, with funds going to cancer research and prevention.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Police Department is once again participating in ‘No Shave November’ to raise money for cancer awareness.
Police Chief Frank LoSacco has authorized a relaxation of the grooming policy, permitting officers to participate by donating and growing facial hair.
Started in 2009, the “No Shave” movement encourages people to forgo shaving the entire month of November to grow their hair in honor of cancer patients, many of whom lose their hair during treatment.
