East Brunswick Residents Get College Degrees

Here is a list of just a few East Brunswick residents who are graduating from college this year.

It's graduation season, and as usual there is no shortage of East Brunswick residents getting their college degrees. here's a list of just a few of those students. If you have a graduate you want to see recognized, send us their name, college and degree and the East Brunswick Patch will post it.

Nicole R. Ward of East Brunswick was among the nearly 900 University of Scranton students earning a bachelor's degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Ward majored in occupational therapy in the Jesuit university's Panuska College of Professional Studies.

Sruthi Akkineni received a bachelor of science degree with a minor in sociology from the University of Sciences on May 18 and now continues on a path towards a doctor of pharmacy degree.

Sarah Chau received a bachelor of science in health science degree from the University of Sciences on May 18 and now continues on a path towards a doctor of physical therapy degree.

Heloise Maddatu received a bachelor of science in health science degree from the University of Sciences on May 18 and now continues on a path towards a doctor of physical therapy degree.

Sarah Steier received a bachelor's degree in hospitality management during the commencement ceremony at Widener University on May 12. The university presented degrees to graduates from August 2011, December 2011 and May 2012 during the ceremony.

Yonatan Mintz has earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Yonatan was among approximately 2,500 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech's 242nd commencement exercises.

Daniel Lee Sullivan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Sullivan joined Clemson University's largest-ever graduating class at three spring Commencement ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum Friday, May 11.

Sara Michelle Reisler  graduated recently with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University. Reisler was one of 661 students to graduate with the Class of 2012, representing a graduation rate of 89.7%, which is among the highest in the nation.

Randall Theodore Nixon graduated recently with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology from Colgate University. Nixon was one of 661 students to graduate with the Class of 2012, representing a graduation rate of 89.7%, which is among the highest in the nation.

Douglas Fischer graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering . Merrimack College held its 62nd Commencement Exercises on May 20, graduating a class of 553 students who received undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Education, Liberal Arts, and Science & Engineering, as well as 46 students who received Master of Education degrees.

Michael Desjardins earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Quinnipiac University during the 81st undergraduate commencement exercises on May 20.

Kevin Gaertner earned a  Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Marketing  at Bryant University. Bryant University held its 149th Commencement on Saturday, May 19.

Puneet Mathur earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management at Bryant University. Bryant University held its 149th Commencement on Saturday, May 19.

Jessica R. Devine a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island. The University of Rhode Island held its 126th Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20. Almost 3,000 undergraduate and 738 graduate students became the University's newest alumni.

Jasmine Middleton a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts in General Business Administration  from the University of Rhode Island. Kirsten K. Gash Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Technology and a BS in Marine Biology, cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island. Kathryn D. Paige received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6 within the College of Education & Social Services during May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont.
