East Brunswick's REPLENISH Ensures No Family Goes Without During Passover and Easter

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – On Monday, East Brunswick-based REPLENISH distributed food to county families just in time for Passover and Easter.

Middlesex County's food distribution organization distributed 960 hams and 2,160 chickens to almost 70 pantry partners to benefit residents experiencing food insecurity, officials said.

These donations were made possible through funds raised by Feeding Middlesex County.

Middlesex County Deputy Director Shanti Narra, Commissioner Charles E. Tomaro, and students from Saint Joseph High School in Metuchen were on-site to help the REPLENISH team distribute donations.

Since both holidays are just around the corner, county residents can help the less fortunate.

To help keep its shelves stocked, REPLENISH accepts donations of non-perishable foods and basic supplies year-round. Individuals can drop items off from 6 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, at the REPLENISH Distribution Center at 28 Kennedy Boulevard around the back of the building.

Additionally, monetary donations are accepted as checks payable to “Feeding Middlesex County.” Checks may be mailed to PO Box 781, Edison, NJ 08818, or donations can be made online via the Feeding Middlesex County website at www.feedingmiddlesexcounty.org.

Individual donations can also be made year-round at any of the permanent collection sites located at libraries in East Brunswick, Edison, Metuchen, Monroe, North Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Piscataway, Plainsboro, South Amboy, South Brunswick, South Plainfield, Spotswood, and Woodbridge.
