His approach emphasizes the connection between emotional support and academic achievement. "When students feel supported, seen, and celebrated, they are more confident, motivated, and ready to grow both academically and socially," DiBernardi explained. He believes that combining this supportive atmosphere with positive experiences, good decision-making, and strong character development creates the foundation for exceptional learning.
As a parent himself, DiBernardi understands the trust families place in their school each day. Married to his wife Rosemarie since 1994, the couple has raised three children and shares their home with three energetic dogs.

"I know how important it is to have open communication, strong school-home partnerships, and a shared vision for success," he said.
DiBernardi plans to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to ensure every student receives high-quality instruction, enriching experiences, and the emotional support needed to flourish.
His vision for Lawrence Brook extends beyond traditional classroom learning. The new principal advocates for outdoor education, community partnerships, and opportunities that spark curiosity and joy in students.
The new principal has already begun setting the tone for the upcoming school year with an exciting announcement. "The theme for 25-26 is 'LB Learning is Out of this World!'" he said. "It sounds like this year will be a blast.”
DiBernardi's leadership style emphasizes accessibility and community engagement. He encouraged families to introduce themselves and reach out with questions or concerns. "I value your input and am excited to work together to make Lawrence Brook the best it can be," he said.
