East Brunswick's Orchard Park To Raise Funds For Kentucky Relief
Chef David Burke will be hosting a Beef & Bourbon dinner to benefit Team Western Kentucky Relief Fund.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As Kentucky enters the second week of recovery efforts post a string of deadly tornadoes, at least 76 people have been reported dead. To help victims rebuild their lives, Chef and restaurateur David Burke will be hosting a Beef & Bourbon dinner to benefit Team Western Kentucky Relief Fund on Thursday, Jan. 13.
The three-course meal, priced at $150 per person, will showcase Kentucky’s most famous export, bourbon– and one of the state’s newest, Bluegrass F1 Wagyu beef. In fact, all of Burke’s New Jersey restaurants will be participating in the benefit — 1776 by David Burke, Morristown; Orchard Park by David Burke, East Brunswick; Red Horse by David Burke, Rumson; Son Cubano, West New York; and VENTANAS, Fort Lee. One-third ($50) of each ticket sale will be donated to the fund, the goal is to raise more than $30,000.
“Taking care of people during a crisis is what we do in the hospitality industry; it’s the right thing to do," Burke said in a statement. "My organization did it in New York and New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy and during the pandemic. Now we’re embracing the people of Kentucky, where our Bluegrass F1 Wagyu beef partners are located. They’ve got family members who have been severely affected by the tornados; it's our honor, duty and pleasure to do what we can to help.” he said.
