EBHS Ranks Among New Jersey's best
A study by U.S. News and World Report has East Brunswick High School ranked 40 in the state.

is one of the top schools in New Jersey in 2012.
According to an article published by U.S. News and World Report, EBHS ranks 40 among all New Jersey high schools and 891 nationally among the more than 21,000 high schools evaluated by the magazine.
"It is rewarding to see how well our students perform with respect to their peers in the state and the nation. This is a true testament to the hard work done each and every day by our students and teachers to ensure our graduates are both college and career ready," said EBHS Principal Robert Murphy.

According to the report, students at EBHS “have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement coursework and exams. The AP participation rate at East Brunswick High School is 36 percent. The student body makeup is 50 percent male and 50 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 38 percent.”

According to the magazine, U.S. News teamed up with the Washington, D.C.-based American Institutes for Research (AIR), and analyzed 21,776 public high schools in 49 states and the District of Columbia. This is the total number of public high schools that had 12th-grade enrollment and sufficient data, primarily from the 2009-2010 school year, to analyze. (Nebraska was the only state that did not report enough data and therefore was not evaluated for any part of the rankings.)
The top rated school in New Jersey was High Technology High School in Lincroft. Some of the area schools ranking above East Brunswick included Princeton Regional High School, West Windsor-Plainsboro North and South, Holmdel High School, J.P. Stevens and Marlboro High School.
