Come out and support East Brunswick athletes this weekend. United FC's Saturday game is now going to be played Sunday.

The East Brunswick Soccer Club is proud to announce that it has two teams playing in the quarter finals of the prestigious New Jersey bracket of the National Championship Series.
Both teams will be playing their State Cup games at home this weekend.
The East Brunswick United FC U13 boys team coached by Ilear Shehaj, Hector Escobar and Joe Camarota were State Champions in 2011 and will be playing on field 2 of Dideriksen Park at 1p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, against the powerful Ironbound Navigators.

The East Brunswick Lightening, U11 Girls team is coached by Brad Caruso, Mike Sliwinski, Garth Smalley and Howard Sternberg and will play PDA Storm on Saturday Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. at East Brunswick High School.
"I believe that it is unprecedented to have two teams in our club get this far in the same year in the state tournament and host home playoff games,” said East Brunswick Soccer Club President Jim Harmon. “Their performance is a testament to their teams hard work and dedication, as well as the training programs we have implemented in our club from our very earliest ages. Please join me in supporting our teams this weekend by coming to the games and wearing green. In addition it would be great if all the members of our club would wear their team jerseys on Friday to school. These two teams deserve support this weekend."
