First Residents Begin Moving Into East Brunswick’s Legacy Place

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (Nov. 7, 2023) – Legacy Place in East Brunswick recently welcomed its first residents.

The first phase of the Garden Communities development is ready for occupancy and upon completion, the community will include 520 luxury rental apartments and townhomes with retail and state-of-the-art amenities.

Legacy Place is located at 110 Tices Lane.

“Legacy Place is a pedestrian-centric, town-center-style development that immediately resonated with the public – underscoring continued demand for this type of amenity-rich multifamily living in vibrant towns like East Brunswick,” said Scott Loventhal, managing director of Garden Communities. “We are excited to now be at the leasing and occupancy stage.”

The community offers a mix of alcove studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences. Two urban-style apartment buildings with garage parking and 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail will front on Tices Lane.

More suburban-style apartments and townhomes will be located toward the rear of the 25-acre site. The community will be developed in three phases.

A 5,000-square-foot clubhouse at Legacy Place will house the community’s permanent on-site leasing and management office. It also will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center, an entertainment lounge with fireplace, and co-working areas.

A resort-style swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen and grilling stations are among the community’s outdoor amenities.

The grounds will include walking paths, plenty of open space, a dog park and a central green space for residents to gather, along with several pocket parks for residents.

The community is in close proximity to area malls and retail along Route 18. The new township ice skating/hockey rink is being built adjacent to the property.

Monthly rents at Legacy Place start from $2,295 for a one-bedroom apartment.
