Get Set for the 35th Annual Road Races

Hundreds are expected to participate in the October race. Register now!

The 35th Annual East Brunswick Road Races will take place on Sunday, Oct. 14, at in East Brunswick. 

The race day’s activities begin at noon with the kids’ dashes. The 1-mile fun run/walk follows at 12:30 p.m. and the day’s final races, the 5k and 10k run/walk, begin at 1 p.m.

Every pre-registered 5k and 10k runner will receive a shirt and a goody bag and prizes will be awarded to the top three male/female finishers.  Amenities include vendors, games and face painting for the children, and post-race refreshments, including bagels, bananas and entertainment for all participants.

The entry fee or the 5k/10k is $22 ($20 for USATF members and East Brunswick Residents).  Race applications and online race registration can be found at EBRR.org.  The 5k and 10k races are sanctioned United States of America Track and Field (USATF) events, and are part of the New Jersey Grand Prix (500 points).

The races are hosted by the Raritan Valley Road Runners and the Township of East Brunswick.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the East Brunswick Rescue Squad, and Team in Training (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).  The East Brunswick Rescue Squad is 100 percent volunteer and relies solely on the generosity of donors. East Brunswick Rescue Squad is dedicated to
assisting the residents of East Brunswick. 

Last year, the Rescue Squad responded to more than 2,000 911 calls for
emergency assistance. Team in Training participants raises money to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
