The Indian Asian community is growing fast.
Take a look at this change and the positive effects it has had on American society during a talk on Thursday, May 3, at 7 p.m. at the during Part III of the “Glimpses of India” series. Dr. Shanti Tangri, Professor Emeritus of Rutgers University, will present a lecture and discussion on the Indian Diaspora in New Jersey during this free program.
Stay afterward for a ceremony honoring the achievements of Notable Indian Americans whose work, efforts or influence positively impacted the community or some aspect of American society. This program is sponsored by the India Association of Garden State, the Indian Cultural Society of East Brunswick, Agraj Seva Kendra, the Middlesex County Cultural & Heritage Commission and The Library.
