Kick Off Summer Reading At East Brunswick Public Library!

Join East Brunswick Public Library for a fun day of summer reading on June 29!

Summer has begun and East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) invites you to a special day of programs to kick off summer reading on Saturday, June 29!

Saturday's main event is an author talk with Joe Pompeo, who wrote Blood & Ink: The Scandalous Jazz Age Double Murder That Hooked America on True Crime at 2:00 pm. The book examines the murder of a referend and a member of his church choir in a spectacularly shocking crime that remains unsolved to this day, nearly one hundred years later. This provincial double murder became a national media sensation and one of the most fascinating killings in American history.

Pompeo is a correspondent at Vanity Fair who previously worked at publications including Politico and The New York Observer. He has also written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, New York, Bloomberg Businessweek, Columbia Journalism Review, and many other outlets.

In addition to operating France Revisited, Kraut creates audio guides to Paris for the VoiceMap app and designs private tours and customized experiences throughout France (garysparistours.com). A native Trentonian, he has lived in Paris for 35 years.
