Lakeview Campers Swim to Fight Lymphoma and Leukemia

All of Lakeview Day Camp took to the pool on Monday, swimming hundreds of laps to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Assistant camp director Jon Grove said the entire camp - 560 campers and 280 staff members all swam at least one lap to help move the effort forward.

On Monday afternoon, around $8,750 had been raised in pledges, Grove said, surpassing the camp's fundraising goal of $7,500 in honor of its 75th anniversary.
