Library Hours Change Beginning This Week to Accommodate Roof Project

The East Brunswick Public Library will be changing its hours while a new roof is installed. Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 26, the library will be open Monday through Friday from 1 to 9 p.m. Weekend hours will remain the same: Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.

Library Director MaryEllen Firestone said the project could take approximately 4 weeks, barring any weather related delays. Strict safety regulations require that the area of the building being worked on each day will be off limits to both staff and customers.  There will be days that certain collections will not be available until the work on that section of the roof is completed. Please help our staff maintain services by understanding that during the project many functions of the building will be moving around and some services will be unavailable for days at a time.”
