Locals Get Academic Honors at College

The following students were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2012 semester at their respective colleges.

Rebecca Gale, a 2008 graduate of East Brunswick High School, made the Dean’s list at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) for the 2011-2012 school year.

Melissa Moskowitz , a 2010 graduate of East Brunswick High School, was among over 750 students from Union College who made the annual Dean's List. Moskowitz, is a Political Science and Womens and Gender Studies major.

To be named to the Dean's List, Union students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the academic year and meet certain other requirements.

Heather Potkulski of East Brunswick earned Dean's List honors at Saint Joseph's University for the Spring 2012 semester, Potkulski is majoring in Sports Marketing at the University. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn Dean's List status for a semester.
