Man Killed His Child's Mother, Grandmother: Cops
A Pennsylvania man was charged after authorities said he broke into a Willingboro home and killed his son's mother and grandmother while the child was present, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said Saturday.

Morris County Wildfire Spreads To 211 Acres Over Weekend
Officials continued battling a Morris County wildfire, which grew to 211 acres as of Saturday night, even as some evacuated residents were allowed back home.

Fatal Police Shooting Under Investigation
The NJ Attorney General’s Office is investigating a fatal police-involved shooting that happened on Sunday in Haddon Township.
According to the preliminary investigation, around 1:07 a.m. on Sunday, Haddon Township Police responded to a 911 call regarding an attempted burglary in progress at an apartment complex on West Crystal Lake Avenue in Westmont.
Shortly after arrival, officers found a man in the stairwell armed with a knife. During an interaction in the stairwell, an officer fired his service weapon, the AG’s office said. The man was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to NJ law, the AG’s Office is required to conduct an investigation into any death that occurs during an encounter with a law enforcement officer or while the person is in custody. The results of the investigations will be presented to a grand jury.
19-Year-Old Killed After Car Hits Parked Truck
A 19-year-old was killed Sunday after his car struck a box truck parked on the shoulder on Interstate 80 in Morris County, according to media reports. Cameron Ray, of Mount Olive, was killed after his car drove onto the shoulder of the highway near milepost 38.2 in Denville and struck a box truck, NJ.com reported.
The driver of the box truck suffered minor injuries and the crash is under investigation.
