Meet the Author of East Brunswick & Its Mayors, 1860-2010

The East Brunswick Historical Society is proud to announce that their History/biography book entitled: East Brunswick & Its Mayors, 1860-2010, by Ann Alvarez, has won 2nd place for the Kevin Hale Publication Award.

The award was presented by the League of Historical Societies of New Jersey who referred to the book as a "...fine publication that benefits the entire history community."

This is the second time in three years that the East Brunswick Historical Society has received this award.  The previous award came in 2010, for its poignant book entitled "World War II, Recollections of Local Veterans," authored by Society members Ann and Manny Alvarez and Betty Quackenboss.

A book signing will be taking place at the East Brunswick Library on Tuesday, May 22, from 3 to 9 p.m. The 200 page books may also be obtained for $25 each, plus cost of mailing, by calling 732-249-3522 or 732-249-7397.
