Monday

Auditions Philomusica Concert ChoirUnitarian Society, 176 Tices Lane East Brunswick, 7:30 p.m.

The choir will be holding auditions on Oct. 7 at the Unitarian Society at 176 Tices Lane in East Brunswick after rehearsals at 10 p.m.  Rehearsals are every Monday and run from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Come to rehearsals at 7:30 pm, sing in with them, or just listen.

Tuesday

Small Business Help, East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, 6 p.m.

The East Brunswick Public Library in conjunction with the Princeton SCORE, a resource partner of the SBA, are offering free counseling to Start-up, Home-based and Small Businesses. Get matched with an experienced mentor in your line of business and bring your questions on how to launch your business or grow a newly established enterprise.

Stories and songs for children ages 2-years-old and up with an adult.

Thursday

Negro Baseball League talk, East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick, 7 p.m.

Scholar Lawrence Hogan examines in depth the rich relationships that comprised “Blackball” during America’s era of segregation. The presentation includes exhibit materials and documentary video clips. A question-and-answer period follows.

Friday

The World Goes 'Round, Playhouse 22, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, 8 p.m.

The World Goes 'Round is a musical revue showcasing the songs of John Kander and Fred Ebb. The show consists of a collection of songs from Chicago, Cabaret and Funny Lady. Performances are Oct. 4 and Oct. 5 at 8 p.m., and Oct. 6 at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at www.Playhouse22.org by phone at 732-254-3939 or at the box office window.
