A black bear that was last seen on Saturday near the township aquatic center has not been seen since, police say.
The black bear was first spotted on Thursday in the area of Stratford Road and then again on Friday on Cotters Lane near Ryders Lane.
Detective Sgt. Kevin Zebro of East Brunswick Police said the bear was last seen early Saturday afternoon in the area of Crystal Springs, but no further sightings have been reported.
Zebro said police believe the bear is following the wooded area near the Turnpike.
Police have advised residents to stay away from the animal and call the police, if sighted.
