Obituary: Keith Buttcher

Buttcher lived in Old Bridge all his life and worked as a gas attendant at the Wawa on Route 18 there.

Keith L. Buttcher, Jr. died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. He was 25.

Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong Old Bridge resident.

He worked as a gas attendant for Wawa on Rt. 18 in Old Bridge for the past eight years.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lucy and Winant Buttcher, his step grandfather, Carl Schwarz, and his uncle, John Ganim.

Surviving are his parents, Keith and Jane Ganim Buttcher; his maternal grandparents, J. Raymond Ganim and his wife Carol of Franklin Township, and Germaine Schwarz of Utah; two uncles, David Ganim of Pennsylvania, and Winant Buttcher Jr. of Manalapan; and two aunts, Donna Dutton of Howell and Carol Dey of Conway, SC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at a time to be announced in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

Cremation will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lap IV Fund at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Foundation, 10 Plum St., 9th Floor, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
