Rain Showers, Honoring Vets at EBPL

Goings on Thursday in East Brunswick

Temperatures are expected to creep above 60 degrees today, while rain looks likely intermittently throughout the day.

Elsewhere in town, the East Brunswick Public Library will honor the heroes of our Armed Forces who served in World War II during a special program today.

Here's what else you need to know on Thursday.

1. Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies and rain showers during the afternoon with a high of 63 degrees and a 40 percent chance of rain. Overnight the temperature will remain in the high 50's with a 70 percent chance of rain.

2. The EBPL will present WWII: A Veterans' Perspective at 7 p.m. The program offers an opportunity to hear the nonfiction versions—the first-person versions—from soldiers who served.
