Rita’s To Celebrate Grand Opening In East Brunswick With Free Rita’s For A Year Giveaways

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Living in East Brunswick just got sweeter. Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard announced it is hosting a grand opening in East Brunswick on Friday. The store is located at 314 RT-18 Unit 39F.

Starting at 4 p.m., the new location will reward the first 50 guests in line with Free Rita’s Italian Ice for a Year. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy photo opportunities with Rita’s mascot Ice Guy, a DJ performance, a balloon twister and merchandise giveaways. The shop will also be offering guests a $3 small Italian Ice and $4 small Gelati all day.

To officially commemorate the opening of East Brunswick’s location, the local franchise owner will host the shop’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is the world’s largest Italian Ice & Frozen Custard brand. Based in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Rita’s is known for its famous Italian ice, frozen custard, signature gelati, and specialty frozen treats.

Originally founded in May 1984, Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo created his prized family recipe to include real fruit and opened his first Rita’s Italian Ice shop in Bensalem, PA. Since then, Rita’s has grown with several franchises across the country.
