63-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed In Wednesday Morning Crash In East Brunswick
Manuel F. Taipina, of South River, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – A 63-year-old South River man was killed in a pedestrian crash early Wednesday morning, East Brunswick Police said. The crash occurred on Route 18.
On Wednesday, around 07:09 a.m., East Brunswick Police Officers responded to Highway 18 northbound near Arthur Street for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.
On arrival, police found Manuel F. Taipina critically injured and pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash, police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no further information was released.
