Shooting Reported Near Rowan University

The Glassboro Police Department, along with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, are investigating a shooting on Sunday morning near the Rowan University campus.

The shooting took place in the area of Main and West Streets, police said. No injuries were reported.

According to 6ABC, investigators recovered a gun and spent shell casings from the scene.

62-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck By Car

A 62-year-old woman was hit by a car on Sunday when going through a crosswalk in Cape May County, according to media reports.

The incident took place Sunday morning on Dune Drive, and it's unclear if the driver stayed at the scene, News12 reported.

The woman was hospitalized and is said to be in stable condition.

Teen Killed, 3 Injured In Trenton Fire

One person was killed and three others injured in a multi-home fire in Trenton on Friday night, authorities said.

The three-alarm fire engulfed seven homes and displaced 22 people. The person killed was 18-year-old Joseph Kokulo, a Trenton High School student and JROTC member.

Kokulo was preparing to participate in Saturday’s homecoming parade when tragedy struck, Mayor Reed Gusciora said. Two people remain hospitalized with burns, one in critical condition.

NJ Man Among 2 Injured In Fatal PA Crash

A two-vehicle crash on Saturday evening in Upper Mount Bethel Township, PA, killed one woman and injured two others, including a Warren County man, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The collision occurred at 7:12 p.m. at Riverton Road and Deer Run Road when Tyler J. Loudenberry, 36, of Phillipsburg, driving west on Deer Run Road, hit a northbound Volkswagen.

Passenger Beverly M. Schirripa, 63, of Bangor, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Volkswagen driver, John D. Schirripa, 61, of Bangor, suffered serious injuries, while Loudenberry sustained possible injuries. Both men were hospitalized.
