Today: Cinema and Stories at EBPL, the Heat is On

Summer heat is back on hump day.

So much for turning off the air conditioning with the arrival of fall weather.

As we hit the middle of the week, the temperature will skyrocket into the 90's today. To beat the heat, bring the kids over to the East Brunswick library for some air conditioning as you participate in story time with movies.

With the nation recognizing the somber anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks today, there were no ceremonies announced for East Brunswick, but here's what else you can find in town today.

1. Today's forecast calls for a high of 93 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Overnight the temperature will drop to the low 70's. Putting away those summer clothes may have been slightly premature today.

2. The East Brunswick Public Library is hosting "Cinema and Stories" at 10:30 a.m. today.  Participants can enjoy stories and short movies based on new and classic children's books. The program is for children age 2-years old and up with an adult. Click here for more information.

3. Are you a commuter? Keep tabs on local traffic in real-time to choose your best route to the office.

4. Do you need to fill up your gas tank when you head out? Use our Mapquest widget to compare the lowest prices in the East Brunswick area.
