Today is Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven

Have a hankering for a frozen treat but looking to save a buck (and a few calories)? Today, Wednesday May 23, 7-Eleven will offer free 7.11-ounce cups of their iconic "Slurpee," which it now offers in a Splenda-sweetened, 20-calorie per serving version. 

East Brunswick residents can stop by the at the intersection of Summerhill Road and Ryders Lane, or the one in Milltown on Ryders lane.

Get your free drink today between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Earlier this month, Slurpee Lite Fanta Sugar-Free Mango flavor drinks, debuted in 7-Eleven stores nationwide. 

The company plans to add more flavors to its summer lineup:

• June: Slurpee Lite: Fanta Sugar-Free Mango Slurpee: Fanta Watermelon Lime
• July: Slurpee Lite: Fanta Sugar-Free Strawberry Banana Slurpee: Fanta Lemon Creme
• August: Slurpee Lite: Fanta Sugar-Free Cherry Limeade Slurpee: Fanta Orange Xplosion
