U15/U16 Panthers Win Winter League Championship
The squad was top of the heap at the Monroe Sportszone

Congratulations to the East Brunswick Soccer Club U15/U16 Panthers.
The squad was league champions at the Monroe Sportszone.
Heading into the playoffs the Panthers were undefeated and sitting in fourth place with 4 wins and 4 ties. In the playoff game against the first place Manalapan Menace, the Panthers gave a dominating performance winning 1-0.

Congratulations to veteran and captain, midfielder Stephanie Pasewaldt, for driving home the winning goal, and goalie Alyssa Elman for consecutive shutouts, stopping every ball that came her way. Alyssa was supported by great defense in front of her consisting of Alana Yates, Lauren Gaskel, and Nicole Talarico.
Other midfielders, Captain Rebecca Simpson, Devon Himelman, Leah, Kayla Kennedy and Caitlin Mosier dominated the possession and kept hammering away at the defense until it crumbled. Forwards Jessica McDonald and newcomers Stephanie “Gee” Gay and Kat Corrao kept the goalie busy taking shot after shot. Ronnie Luftig provided moral support while recovering from her injury.

The Panthers played the Old Bridge Surge in the final match and continued their dominating play. Stephanie “GEE” Gay scored her first goal as a Panther and brought her team to the top. Final Score Panthers 1- Surge 0.
