Utility Company Works on Dutch Road

Dutch Road was hit hard in Hurricane Sandy, and cleanup is finally beginning.

Residents in the Dutch Road area have been without power since last week, and even today (Tuesday, Nov. 6) utility poles were still strewn across the road, wires hanging on cars, and in the street.

But thanks to some utility works from Amaren, a FirstEnergy Company in Illinois, residents may not have to be in the dark much longer. One of the workers said he hoped to have most of the work done by the end of the day.
