Waste, Recycling Pickup Schedule Changes January In East Brunswick
Effective Jan. 1, 2024, there will be a change in garbage and recycling pick-up schedules in the township.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As residents are aware, the township will begin a new recycling and waste pick-up contract beginning Jan. 1, 2024.
As a result, there will be a change in pick-up schedules in the township.
The modifications are effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to East Brunswick.

The township will be divided into two collection districts — north and south of Cranbury Road.
Solid Waste Collection days will be either Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday based on a resident's location.
The recycling collection will be every other Wednesday. Residents must schedule bulk pickups.
