Burglary To Auto, Careless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
The East Windsor police blotter dated Dec. 14, had the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Dec. 7 at 3:55 p.m., a resident of Avon Drive told police that their vehicle was burglarized between Nov. 30 and Dec. 2. The resident’s credit cards were stolen from the vehicle and fraudulently used to make purchases. A detective identified the suspect, a 38-year-old East Windsor resident. The woman turned herself in at the police headquarters and was charged on a summons, pending court action.
On Dec. 2, 2:44 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle in the parking lot of a closed Wendy’s with its lights on and the engine running. They met with the driver who exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after refusing to comply with field sobriety tests. The driver, a 55-year-old Pemberton resident, also had an outstanding traffic warrant and was later released on his own recognizance.
On Dec. 10, at 10:58 a.m., an officer responded to Motel 6 for a reported citizen dispute with one of the individuals being potentially armed. On arrival, officers found the individuals and determined there was no weapon involved, however, the one individual had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. The 31-year-old East Windsor man was arrested and later turned over to the custody of the Trenton Police.

On Dec. 11 at 10:22 p.m., an officer responded to Oak Creek Road for the report of a possible intoxicated driver that struck a utility pole and left the scene. The officer located the driver on Devonshire Drive who exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. The 30-year-old East Windsor resident was later released pending court action.
