Careless Driving, Shoplifting: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated Dec. 1 had the following reports:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ - Nov. 26, 3:25 p.m., an officer responded to Etra Road near Feldsher Road for the report of a possible drunk driver. The officer located the driver who exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver, a 59-year-old resident of Delaware was later released pending court action.

Nov. 26, 7:25 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite for a report of a shoplifting incident. Investigation revealed that an individual left the store without paying for $121.89 worth of merchandise. The person was charged on a summons pending court action.:

Nov. 29, 4:35 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite for a report of a shoplifting incident. Investigation revealed that a New Brunswick left the store without paying for $338.12 worth of merchandise. The 57-year-old was arrested and later released pending court action.

On Nov. 29, 8:20 p.m., an officer responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention personnel. Investigation revealed that a Monroe resident attempted to leave the store without paying for $120.49 worth of merchandise. The 76-year-old was arrested and later released pending court action.
