Conover Road Improvement Construction to Begin Monday

Construction on the East Windsor road is expect to begin on Monday and should take about two weeks.

East Windsor Township will begin much needed repairs to Conover Road, between Route 130 and Woods Road, starting on Monday, Oct. 21, weather permitting. The work is expected to take approximately 2 weeks, concluding on or about Nov. 1, according to the East Windsor Township website. 

Conover Road will be closed to all traffic, other than emergency vehicles and residents living on Conover Road, during work hours on Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The road will be fully open at other times and on weekends.

During construction hours, residents living on Conover Road will have access to enter and leave from one direction or the other. Daily notice will be provided by the contractor as to which end of the road is accessible for residents only.

No through traffic will be allowed beyond Woods Road and access to Woods Road will be open from Old York Road. To access Conover Road between Woods Road and Old York Road, use Route 33 to Airport Road, to Old York Road. Click here to see a detour map.
