Delayed Opening For East Windsor Schools Due To Icy Conditions
Icy conditions force schools to go on a delayed schedule for Wednesday.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — The East Windsor Regional School District will operate on a delayed opening schedule as icy conditions prevail in the township.
"The overnight weather forecast calls for extremely cold temperatures, which may contribute to increased ice-covered road and sidewalk conditions in the morning. Therefore, to support the safety of staff and students, the East Windsor Regional School District will follow a delayed opening schedule on Wednesday," the school district said.
Here are the delayed opening start times for each school:

- HHS: 9:00 a.m.
- MHK: 9:25 a.m.
- GNR: 10:15 a.m.
- PLD: 10:15 a.m.
- EMK: 10:15 a.m.
- WCB: 10:15 a.m.
- AM Preschool: 10:15 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
- PM Preschool: 1:20 p.m. to 3:25 p.m.
Kidcare will open at 8:30 a.m.
Icy conditions and temperatures in the 20s — with wind chills as low as 10 degrees — are on the forecast for Wednesday.
