East Windsor Begins 2024 Food Drive To Benefit Community
The drive will continue through mid-February. Here's where you can donate non-perishable food items:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ – On Jan. 8, East Windsor kicked off the “New Year’s Food Drive,” to benefit local families and individuals in need.
The drive will be continuing through mid-February
Non-perishable food items can be donated by dropping them off at the East Windsor Township municipal building at 16 Lanning Boulevard, during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; at the East Windsor Police/Court Building, 80 One Mile Road at any time; and at East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2, 69 Twin Rivers Drive.

“As the holiday season and its special focus on good deeds passes, we want to remind everyone that the need for assistance to people in our area continues, and call upon our community’s proven spirit of generosity,” Mayor Janice Mironov said.
“As we begin a New Year, let us remember our neighbors who need our help and support, especially during the winter months. Typically, we understand that donations drop off after the holidays, and we hope that this special effort will help feed area people.”

All food will be given to the Food Pantry at RISE, an area-based organization providing assistance to local individuals and families, for distribution within the community.
