Hightstown Borough Leaf Collection Schedule

The Hightstown Borough’s leaf collection will begin the week of Oct. 28.

When placing leaves curbside, it is important to follow these guidelines in order to stay in compliance with the NJ Storm Water regulations:

• Place your leaves curbside in neat piles no sooner than 7 days prior to your collection time. Leaves must also be placed 10 feet from any storm drain.
• Do not park vehicles in front of leaf piles. If they can’t be reached they be collected. No twigs, branches, trash or other debris are to be included. These items have separate collection times.
• Residents on County Roads (Monmouth Street, North and South Main Street, Stockton Street and Etra Rd.) will be collected by the county. Please contact them directly for their schedule at 609-530-7510.
• Residents on State Hwy. 33 (Mercer Street and Franklin Street) will be collected by appointment only in open bags.

The following definitive schedule will be followed for collection (all of the collections are weather permitting):

• Districts 1 and 2: Monday, Oct. 28 – Friday, Nov. 1
• Districts 3 and 4: Monday, Nov. 4 – Friday, Nov. 8
• Districts 1 and 2: Monday, Nov. 12 – Friday, Nov. 15
• Districts 3 and 4: Monday, Nov. 18 – Friday, Nov. 22
• Districts 1 and 2: Monday, Nov. 25 – Friday, Nov. 27
• Districts 3 and 4: Monday, Dec. 2 – Friday, Dec. 6
• Districts 1 and 2: Monday, Dec. 9 – Friday, Dec. 13
