The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

PRINCETON, NJ - On April 3, at 1:49 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The driver was found to have a suspended license and warrant out of Hamilton. The driver, an East Windsor resident, was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released on her own recognizance.

On April 4, an officer responded to the parking lot on a report of an individual asleep behind the wheel with the engine running. The officer located the vehicle and observed the driver slumped over the wheel with his foot on the accelerator. The driver was unable to perform field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. The driver, an East Brunswick resident, was transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.

On April 6 an officer observed a vehicle parked in Etra Park after it had closed. The officer met with the driver who had an open can of beer and showed signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The New Brunswick resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.

On April 6, an officer was patrolling the area when he saw an individual stumble as he was getting into his vehicle in the parking lot of Shell. As the officer entered the parking lot, the individual drove onto Route 33 and was stopped. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 54-year-old Union Beach resident was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.

On April 7, an officer responded for a past tense shoplifting report. Loss prevention personnel reported an individual stole $73.91 worth of fishing line. The officer conducted a follow up investigation, identified the suspect, a 51-year-old Chesterfield resident, and charged him accordingly.

On April 8, an officer conducted a traffic stop near Burger King and learned the passenger of the vehicle had an active warrant out of Long Branch. The passenger, a 43-year-old Trenton resident, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the custody of the Long Branch Police.

On April 8, an officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding. The driver provided a false name and was found to have a suspended license and active warrants out of Hamilton and Robbinsville. The driver, a 42-year-old Hamilton resident, was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, served with a complaint summons, and later released on his own recognizance.

On April 9, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the driver not wearing his seatbelt. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of Evesham. The driver, a Levittown, PA resident, was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, issued a traffic summons, and released on his own recognizance.
