Kelly's Heroes Golf Event 9/1 'Wages Hope' for Cancer Patients
Proceeds benefit the Steve Kelly Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research at John Hopkins in the fight against the deadliest of all major cancers

Kelly’s Heroes will hold its annual Teed Off! Golf Outing to Fight Pancreatic Cancer Sept. 1 at Mercer Oaks in Princeton Junction.
Now in its sixth year, this outing benefits the Steve Kelly Fund for Pancreatic Cancer Research at Johns Hopkins. The fund supports clinical trials for patients who have limited treatment options against pancreatic cancer. The third leading cause of cancer death, pancreatic cancer has a five-year survival rate of just 10 percent. "We're determined to change that statistic," said Kelly's Heroes co-founder Kerry McKean Kelly. "Our inspiration Steve Kelly was one of the 48,000 people who die of this terrible disease in the U.S. each year. He volunteered in two clinical trials to expand treatment options for future patients, and Kelly's Heroes is committed to carrying on Steve's legacy of hope."
Golfers and sponsors are invited to join Kelly's Heroes for this fun, friendly outing. It's a scramble format with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration includes golf, cart, boxed lunch, on-course beverages, a post-match buffet with cocktails, prizes and raffles. Sponsor opportunities are available at a variety of levels, starting as low as $100 for hole sponsors.
