New Police Officer Takes Oath Of Office In East Windsor

Tristan Miranda worked as a Sheriff's Officer with the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — A new police officer recently joined the ranks of the East Windsor Police Deperatment. Mayor Janice S. Mironov administered the oath of office to Officer Tristan Miranda at a ceremony held during the recent Council meeting.

Miranda obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is currently working towards his Master’s Degree in Criminology from Widener University.

Before joining the East Windsor Police Department, Officer Miranda worked as a Sheriff’s Officer with the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department.

On graduating from the Mercer County Police Academy, he will be assigned to a Uniform Services Platoon.

“This is a good evening for East Windsor Township and our Police Department,” Mironov said. “We congratulate and welcome new police officer Miranda to our department and wish him a positive and satisfying career in East Windsor.”
