Obstructing, Shoplifting: East Windsor Police Blotter

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – On Nov. 17 at 3:20 p.m., an office found an East Windsor man drinking alcohol in public on Avon Drive near the Quad 3 pool. The man fled from the officer who immediately gave chase. After a short foot chase, the man was arrested. The 37-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed and later released pending court action.

On Nov. 17 at 2 p.m., an officer responded to Target for a shoplifting incident. Investigation revealed that a Trenton resident bypassed all points of sale and attempted to leave the store with $1,501.60 worth of merchandise. The 47-year-old fled the area before police could arrive. The officer later identified the woman and charged her on a complaint summons.
