Over $2K in Allegra, Olay Products Shoplifted from East Windsor CVS, Police Say

A Brooklyn man and woman were arrested and charged with shoplifting after allegedly stealing the items from CVS pharmacy.

East Windsor police arrested a man and a woman for allegedly shoplifting over $2,000 worth of Allegra and Olay products from the CVS Pharmacy in East Windsor on Oct. 5.Β 

Police were approached by a concerned citizen who reportedly witnessed the shoplifting saying that he saw someone fill a bag with merchandise and leave the store without paying. The citizen identified the suspect as a rear passenger of a car that was leaving the area, police said. Officers stopped the vehicle and an investigation revealed that the two occupants were in possession of $2,016.75 worth of Allegra and Olay products.Β 

The occupants in the car were identified as Kashmir Mapp, 22, and Vanessa Jordan, 29, both of Brooklyn, NY. Mapp and Jordan were arrested and charged with shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting. Mapp was also charged with possession of a shoplifting device, according to police. They were transported to Mercer County Corrections in default of $15,000 bail. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, both Mapp and Jordan are no longer in jail.Β
