EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On March 22, at 11:18 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle with a headlight and a brake light out. The driver, an East Windsor resident, provided the officer with a false name and was later discovered to have active warrants out of East Windsor and Hightstown. The 19-year-old was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, served with a complaint summons, and released on his own recognizance.

On March 22, at 9:45 p.m., an officer responded to the Holiday Inn for a disturbance. The involved parties were found to have active warrants and to be in possession of suspected cocaine. The two individuals were placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, served with complaint summonses, and released on their own recognizance.

On March 23, at 1:43 a.m., an officer responded to the area of Canterbury Court on a report of loud music coming from a vehicle. The officer met with the driver who showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The Jamesburg resident was taken to police headquarters, and processed, but refused to comply with breath testing procedures. The 34-year-old was later released pending court action.

On Feb. 7, around 4:15 PM, a victim’s debit card was stolen by a man at the Bank of America, 319 Route 130 North. The man swapped the victim’s debit card with a different one. He passed the debit card to two women who were able to withdrawal $1,500 from the victim’s bank account. The case was assigned to a detective who identified and charged all three suspects accordingly.
