Reckless Driving, DUI: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated Nov. 22 had the following reports:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – On Nov. 16 at 12:45 a.m., an officer responded to Covington Drive for the report of two males sleeping inside a running vehicle. The driver, a Jamesburg resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 35-year-old was later released pending court action.

On Nov. 18, at 2:05 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite for a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention personnel. Investigation revealed that a 23-year-old Monroe resident attempted to leave the store without paying for $207.18 worth of merchandise. The woman was placed under arrest and later released pending court action.

On Nov. 18, at 11:30 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 after observing the vehicle failing to maintain its lane. The driver, an East Windsor resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 27-year-old was later released pending court action.

On Nov. 19, 1:10 a.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop at Twin Rivers Drive after observing the vehicle failing to maintain its lane. The driver, an East Windsor resident exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 31-year-old was later released pending court action.
